Over the last few months, Diode Computers, Inc. has been working with Anthropic on a shared question: how good can a general-purpose AI model become at real electrical engineering work?
Not as a demo or a toy, but on designs that become hardware that their customers plug into test stands, planes, and robots.
It turns out: really good.

Everyone is talking about energy shortage in the AI race. A silent choke point for powering and building AI data centers is permitting. Today, Spark AI (YC W24) users can run permitting reports for data centers.
Zoning codes. Fire codes. Tax treatment. Red tape. Facebook opposition groups trying to shut you down before you even show up. Data center developers are operating with scattered, opaque, and unstructured information.
Spark has read the entire country, so developers don't have to. More ...more

BrowserBook (YC F24) is an IDE built for developers who automate work on the web.
It combines a TypeScript notebook, an inline browser, and an AI coding assistant in a single environment. Developers can write, run, and debug scripts in one place, with built-in support for authentication, screenshots, and structured data extraction. When you’re done, automations can also be triggered externally through a simple API.
Many teams try to use AI agents to execute browser workflows, but they often en ...more

Kenobi lets your website personalize itself to every inbound visitor.
98% of web traffic doesn’t convert. That’s because every visitor — whether they’re a F500 CFO or a startup founder — get served the same exact site that speaks to neither of them.
Kenobi solves this with a small widget that asks your website visitors what company they’re from. For those that opt in, the whole page changes in 2-3 seconds, making the whole site hyper-relevant to them.
Sites using Kenobi are already seeing 3x ...more

If you need to know what your customers want, it is now just an Outset AI survey away. Qualtrics built a decacorn business on this. Outset will be 10x bigger than that because the outcomes are way more profound. Products everywhere are about to get a lot better.

Where does AI go after LLMs?
One answer is physiological ground truth. Empirical Health (YC S23) trained a health foundation model on 3 million de-identified days of sensor timeseries, covering 63 channels such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, sleep stages, and more.
The model had high accuracy at identifying high blood pressure (87% AUROC), atrial flutter (70%), ME/CFS (81%), and sick sinus syndrome (87%). Results were presented at the NeurIPS Timeseries for Health workshop in San Diego.

Vybe announced its launch today, along with a $10M seed round to make vibe-coding work within companies.
The team is building a platform that makes vibe-coding practical for real internal software. Most fast-growing companies end up with operations held together by rigid SaaS tools, spreadsheets, or custom internal apps that engineering teams rarely have time to maintain. Vybe is designed so business teams can build and update internal tools themselves, while engineers keep control of the under ...more

Questom (YC F25) builds AI agents for B2B inbound sales that answer calls, emails, chat, and SMS, gather order details, generate quotes, follow up, and send updates.
In a lot of B2B businesses, sales still happen the old-fashioned way: a customer reaches out with a request, and a rep spends hours going back and forth. Think: “I need 500 polos with our logo by next Friday,” “Can you match this spec?”, “What’s the price at 1,000 units?”, “Can you ship to three locations?”, or “Where’s my order?” ...more

Eloquent AI has raised a $7.4M seed round to build AI “operators” that can take action on regulated financial workflows — not just answer questions — so institutions can automate more of their operational, support, and compliance work.
Instead of relying on APIs or complex engineering, Eloquent AI’s operators learn by watching how teams complete tasks in tools like Alloy, Unit21, Intercom, Zendesk, and internal dashboards. Their proprietary multimodal model, Oratio, is trained on regulated fina ...more
