CrowdStrike Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Remote
Role Type: Contract | 1 Year (Possible Extension)

Our client, a global technology solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the lifecycle management of a large-scale Kubernetes compute platform. This role requires proficiency in Go (Golang), advanced Kubernetes expertise, and strong communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance the Kubernetes compute platform
- Write Kubernetes controllers and build admission webhooks
- Drive cost efficiency across the cloud platform
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams
- Contribute to the multi-year cloud platform strategy
- Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and strong developer experience
Required Experience & Skills:
- 12+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
- Advanced Kubernetes expertise
- 4+ years of public cloud provider experience
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Nice-to-Haves:
- Istio/Envoy experience
- Multi-cloud platform standardization experience
- Background in large-scale infrastructure modernization
Education:
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
